Health and Wellbeing Services

There are a variety of health and wellbeing services hosted and delivered at The Hub, including weight management groups, postnatal fitness classes, projects to reduce social isolation and mental health services. Anyone is welcome to drop in for support, and we can signpost you to sessions delivered by Argyle Community Trust and partners, including PL1 Civvy Street, Poles APart and Livewell Southwest.

Poles Apart AP

Poles Apart AP offer alternative education intervention provision, working with young people across Devon and Cornwall. They will be using space in The Hub to deliver a range of engaging programmes and learning opportunities for young people in the area.

Livewell Southwest

is an independent social enterprise providing integrated NHS physical and mental health services and adult social care within Plymouth. They aim to help people of all ages to live their best lives, providing services within Plymouth’s wellbeing Hubs ranging from weight management groups to perinatal mental health support. This offer will be expanded into the health and wellbeing offer at Foulston Park.

PL1 Civvy Street

PL1 Civvy Street will be a dedicated service, delivered and supported by Retain Ltd, that will ensure military personnel who have served their country receive the support they deserve. This tailored approach centres around four pillars: community, signposting, education and resettlement, and homelessness and rough sleepers.
