Tuesday, 17 March marks exactly one year since The Hub at Foulston Park first opened its doors.


To celebrate this milestone, we are inviting our community to join us for a week of celebrations!

From the first workout to the thousandth coffee, the last twelve months have been an incredible journey of sport, play, and connection.
We are incredibly proud of our team’s hard work and the positive impact we have made together.

Whether you are a regular face or have never stepped foot inside, we would love for you to join us from Tuesday, 17 March to Friday, 20 March for a series of special birthday treats.
We have lined up a few ways to say “thank you” for a fantastic first year:
  • Sweet treats: It would not be a birthday without cake! From Tuesday to Friday, visitors can claim a complimentary slice of our most popular banana cake with any purchase in the Common Ground Café. To redeem, simply wish our team a “Happy Birthday” at the counter when you make your purchase.
  • Fuel your gains: Our café will also be serving up our new protein smoothie tasters. It is the perfect opportunity to find your new favourite post-workout recovery flavour.
  • Babcock Esports arena: On Friday, 20 March between 11am and 7pm, our state-of-the-art esports gaming arena will be open for public play. Whether you are a competitive pro or a casual gamer, come and experience what is on offer for free.
  • Share the fitness: Newcomers can claim a free day pass to experience our fully-equipped and welcoming gym. Current members are encouraged to bring a friend to train alongside them at no extra cost.
To our staff, funders, partners, to everyone who has been part of this journey so far, and most importantly to you, our community, thank you for making our first year unforgettable. Here’s to many more years of sport, play, and connection.
