Visitors, members, and site users at Foulston Park are advised that essential utility infrastructure works will take place next month resulting in temporary traffic management and likely disruptions.
South West Water will be installing a new Fire Supply Mains Water Connection from Monday, 8 June to Friday, 12 June 2026.
While full access to the site will be maintained throughout the duration of the project, visitors should expect delays and temporary road controls.
General Visitor and Car Park Access
- All facilities remain fully open. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane managed and marshalled by South West Water personnel. Please allow an extra few minutes for your journey as short delays are expected.
- Emergency Vehicles: Full access will be maintained at all times via a dedicated marshalled lane.
Pedestrian Safety
- Safe pedestrian access will be maintained via a temporary pedestrian footpath and phased walkways. Pedestrians are advised to follow directional signage.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while these essential safety infrastructure upgrades are completed. Visitors are encouraged to check times and factor a minor delay into their arrival schedules when visiting Foulston Park, NHS Physiotherapy Hub, Plymouth Albion RFC, or City of Plymouth Athletic Club facilities during this week.
